| SECURITY GUARD ENTRANCE
EXAMINATION |
| All applicants must be able to drive around in a car wearing
a peaked cap, dark glasses and a surly expression, stopping at least three
times per shift for a doner kebab or big mac. Before commencing the paper get to your feet and look down. If your belly is hanging over your belt proceed to question one. If it isn't, and you can see any part of your feet, you have already failed. Time allowed - From when the big hand is on twelve and the little hand is on nine until both hands are on twelve. |

| B. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE. Fill in the missing words. Applicants
generally do well in this section. (1) ..Custer fought at the Battle of the Little Big Horn. (2) President Eisenhower held the rank of during the second world war. (3) A shop which sells groceries, greengroceries, magazines etc, is called a store. (Any applicant putting Paki for question (3) will get an extra point for good observation) |
| C. INITIATIVE. During your rounds you visit a warehouse where
it is obvious that a robbery is taking place. Should you -
(1) Ignore it completely and continue on your way? (2) Alert the police? (After first ensuring that it isn't the police who are doing the robbery.) (3) Wait until the robbers have gone, then pinch something yourself before alerting the police (Clue - There are two correct answers to this question, neither of which is (1). |
